We’re gearing up for the Lunar New Year here… food is being prepared, money is being doled into envelopes, and decorations are hung. We’re also trying to mix in a few crafts that celebrate the holiday as well. And we’re sharing! Here’s something for all of you, a printable dragon mask! I’ll be taking a bunch of these to Sprout’s school on Monday for the class to color, along with a Korean snack. I’ll then take the masks home to cut out and assemble, since that’s a lot to ask of his teachers, no?!

It’s pretty simple. Just download the pdf by clicking the link below (under the black and white mask image), then print out at 100% on your printer. (Preferably on cover weight stock if you have it) Color it in… then trim it out on the dotted lines! Cut out the center of the eyes (and the mouth if you want). Then, punch a hole on both sides of the mask [Note: I didn't punch high enough... your holes should align with the eyes]. Then string with yarn, ribbon, string, etc. That’s it! Tie them on and have fun! I hope you have fun with it!

I always love to see where our designs end up. If you want to share your masterpieces, feel free to post them on the leapfrog lane Facebook wall.

새해 복 많이 받으세요! Happy New Year Everyone!
Thanks! This is awesome!
Love it! I’ve printed it out for the kids.
